After 4 rounds of interviews and completing a case study, they cancelled my final interview with the CEO last minute and scheduled a 5th interview with a member of the executive leadership team I had never heard of. They then told me I would be reporting into them after some "internal discussions." Huge red flag for me there, as the job had been posted for several months. Why were they still deciding who this persons boss would be the day of their final interview?
After cancelling and rescheduling twice the member of the executive leadership team was late to our meeting before telling me they only 10 minutes before they had to "jump to another meeting." They wanted to schedule another call so I asked them what else they needed to know that they didn't after 5 rounds of interviews. I wasn't applying to be a heart surgeon so I have no idea why they needed 5+ rounds of interviews.
It was radio silence for another day until they sent me a generic rejection email. Extremely disrespectful to my time, and the member of the executive leadership team was one of the most unprofessional people I've ever interviewed with.
If this is how they put their best foot forward to attract candidates, imagine what a nightmare it would be to actually work there.
