      Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso PatientFocus nel mese di nov 2014

      Colloquio

      This was the strangest interview process I've ever encountered. First I spoke via phone with the recruiter that found me and she set up a phone interview with the hiring individual. I had a phone interview with him and then a face-to-face. During the face-to-face, he suggested I sit with the call center supervisor. I spoke with her to learn that the prior manager (that this position was replacing) had been promoted to a VP and then later fired. When I spoke to the hiring individual again, he told me the next step was to send me some data about their call center and have me create a 30/60/90 day plan on how I would fix it if I got the job. I remember thinking at the time, what's to stop them from using their hiring process to get great ideas from good candidates so that they don't have to pay a consultant, and then never hire any of the candidates. I did the plan anyway, and they loved it. Then they scheduled me for an interview with a consulting firm that apparently vettes their candidates' work experience, etc. Passed that interview. Then they set me up with a consultant that was a call center expert. Passed that one too. Then he sends me two personality tests to take. Took those and must have passed those too because he invited me back to meet the entire leadership team. Passed that interview as well. Hiring individual told me how excited everyone was about me and that they wanted to broaden the role and have me be a Director of another area that was currently a weak area for them, but that I could still oversee the call center at first to implement my plan I had created. Since the manager position was supposed to have paid in the $75 to $80k range, and I was already making $75, I expected at least $80 just for the manager role. Now that they were bumping it up to Director, I expected more than that with the increased title, level of work and job responsibilities. Two days later I received an offer for $75...what they knew I was already making. They were willing to pay a manager up to $80k, so now this is a director and they offer me $75? I decided to take the offer anyway and emailed it back, but I asked if it was possible to negotiate one small detail other than the money. He called me back two days later and rescinded the offer because I wanted to negotiate that one thing. And it was something small. All he had to do was say that wouldn't work for them, and I would have said ok, no problem, just thought I'd ask. When I gave the news to the recruiter, he told me that this had happened with 3 candidates that he's sent to them. Bottom line, I think they use their hiring process to get these 30/60/90 day plans and other ideas with no intention of hiring the candidate. But even if I'm wrong... your first instinct should not be to rescind your offer just because a candidate asks a question.
