      Recruiter said I was a finalist. After 5 rounds interviews, recruiter said company wanted to offer me an independent contractor role for one month, and then consider me for a Director versus Senior Director role. VP Commercial Legal asked me to draft an engagement letter for the one month project work. After engagement letter negotiations finalized, VP Commercial Legal emailed she would contact me to meet a week after. I follow up a few times with my availability. VP Commercial Legal never responds after 2 months on a project start date or respond to any of my messages essentially ghosting me with no explanation on the project or consideration of me for a full time job. This is after VP Commercial Legal claimed legal team had a lot of work that would keep someone busy full time, agreed to my hourly fees, and onboarding me for the project was a priority.

      Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I can see how frustrating and disappointing this experience must have been, especially after the extensive time invested in interview process and the initial discussions about project work. Not all titles across industry are equal and I acknowledge, when there is a difference of opinion around an individuals title or level of experience, that can be frustrating. We should have communicated delays and changes to plans to you promptly. I regret that this did not happen but assure you that we are currently reviewing all internal processes and systems to support improved communication. We remain actively committed to improving our candidate experience.
