Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 5 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso PayPay nel mese di nov 2023
Colloquio
I applied online. The process took around 1.5 months.
First round: 7 days assignment.
Second round: technical interview
Thrid round: security & system design. I got rejected here.
The second round was ok, the interviewer was nice, friendly and gave me clear questions. Then I had to wait 3 weeks to get to the 3rd interview. But it was dissapointed, I admit that I didn't do it well because I was too nervous but the interviewers were not good as well. Please don't send introvert person to interview and please give interviewee clear questions and interact more with them.

It's a very demotivating end. I request that you never invest your time in their currency converter or weather app assignments. They never value the assignment. No feedback nothing. Even if you do an A grade code, they will not select you because you might be expecting a high salary. That's the only criterion here.
Face-to-face rounds are easy and good. But NO NO to assignments ever

The process took about 1.5 months;
I applied through an outsourced recruiter who found me on LinkedIn. The recruiter was very good, but PayPay itself consistently gave the impression that they were not interested in hiring at all.
The 1st round involved a coding test, which I successfully passed (they got back to me after 10 days).
The 2nd round was a technical interview regarding my coding assignment, and the interviewer was very skilled and positive. I successfully passed that round as well, and it was a positive experience.
The 3rd round focused on security and system design. I answered all the security questions in the first 30 minutes, and then there was a 30-minute system design part. I tried to present a concept for QR-based payment, and the idea was clear but lacked details because of time. The interviewer didn't engage much; he remained mostly silent, and despite my efforts to initiate a dialogue, we didn't establish much communication. Consequently, I presented a conceptual solution without additional details, which we didn't have time to discuss. Honestly, I was confident I would pass this round too.
BUT after a week
I received a rejection without any explanation of the reasons or feedback.
If you value your time, please don't apply for this position. The interviews were not difficult, but they consume an incredibly large amount of time, and it's not worth it.
