Applied through an Employee, received a call from Bekah on 15th of January where she asked me various questions about myself and based on that made a recommendation on couple of jobs that was based on my answers. I choose to be a Paycom Specialist because I can see myself excel in this position and become a leader in my position. Couple days later on January 17th I received a call from Kaili (HR recruiter) where she asked me further questions about my education, work experience and skills. She then send me a couple of emails, one containing a sample of the Wonderlic test and another with a confirmation to an in person interview with two of the department supervisors. I spend the weekend looking at different Wonderlic test samples online, taking quizzes several times so I can better ready myself for the test. On January 21 I was interviewed with Aaron and Josh, the interview felt more like a conversation as they made me feel comfortable with the interview. The interview consisted of several questions again about my education, work experience and about myself. After the interview i was given a chance to take the Wonderlic test (it wasn't hard and I am not sure what I made on that test, because of the time limit of only 12 mins it can be difficult to answer all the questions. my advice to all the applicants is just do your best because the test is only a small part of your hiring process and not the whole picture, you will be hired based on your performance in the interview and personality). At around 2 PM the same day I received a call from Kaili informing me about my final interview on January 24. I went in on that day and met with senior supervisor Morgan and a team lead Victor, they further asked me questions and specific questions on what would you do in a scenario. Again the interview felt like a friendly conversation and both of the interviewers made me fell welcome in the company. Now comes the waiting part, after a couple of weeks I got a call from Kaili on February 5 congratulating me on getting the job (contingent upon reference check and background check), so the following week i did just that and on February 11 I received a call from Taylor from the HR department congratulating me on getting the position and will start working for them on the first week of March. The whole experience has been phenomenal for me and my expectations with this company has gone through the roof, the people sure make a difference in this company as I met such awesome individuals through my interview process. This shows that the company believes in each individual and want to succeed. I want to thank all these people individually for making a difference in my life and my personal friend Danny for introducing me to this company. I can't wait to make a difference of my own for other by working for Paycom. To individuals applying my advice would be (be patient, be yourself, be confident) and you would succeed in any position you will apply in this company. Remember the names of the individuals that you will interact through your interview process as they will become your colleagues in the future.
