      The interview process for me was a quick one. The turnaround from first interview to job offer was just under a week. There was something that struck me as odd and almost cultish about the organization. I felt as though I was being dirty rushed through the process (was sent a gift card after I declined the position to 'thank me for my time'). They definitely do a good job of making you feel like you're one of a million that have made it to a certain stage in the interview process and promising you the world if you give your life to them (promise a 20-something the potential of making $200K and I'm sure many bite at the chance). The recruiter I worked with practically scripted what I should say, which I found odd and a little bit concerning. There's tons of sales jobs out there and I can see why this is alluring to some, but would say approach the company with caution. If you're looking to establish your career without moving cross-country, this probably isn't for you. Take a look on LinkedIn - pretty much no sales rep that has moved up within the company has stayed in one location for an extended period of time.

      We pride ourselves on having a quick turnaround time, which is a testament to your sales abilities. Our interview process is tough, and when a candidate meets our criteria we want to get them onboard as soon as possible. Our recruiters ensure applicants are well-prepared for the interview process and walk them through scenarios they may experience. We provide a gift card to every candidate that makes it through. Our process for developing and relocating new mangers has proven successful, but that in no way undermines the success existing reps have in their territory. In fact, the earning potential that executive reps’ experience is why a number of them choose to remain in their territories. For these reasons, we have little to no turnover from our executive reps.       The hiring process was long, the entire process took me about 2.5 months. This was mostly due to me working between my school schedule. I had an incredibly positive experience throughout my interviews. My recruiter helped me with every question I had at any time. I would text/call/email and he would get back to me within minutes. This made the entire process so much better. When your recruiter goes to bat for you on everything, taking time out of their day to do anything to help. It really says a lot about the company. I wish I could shout out my recruiter but I’m going to keep it anonymous for their sake. Overall the most incredible experience interviewing with this company. They are like no one you will ever meet!

      Initial interview over the phone with recruiter from LinkedIn, FaceTime interview second. She was awesome. Met with manager in person, waited for call for follow up to cold call with the team. Manager seemed professional and passionate about his job, which is always a good thing. They are a fairly small company compared to ADT, so even if you're in sales, be prepared to also be the one who implements the technology you sell. Also, mandatory meetings on Monday, Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons sends the message they don't trust their workforce to be working when they can't keep an eye on you. For the eager sales people like they're hoping to hire, that just interferes with calls you could be making in the field. JUST A HEADS UP: If you're over the age of 25 and have children (especially if you're female) don't bother applying. The second I mentioned my young child at home, his whole demeanor changed. Saw the sales staff and would be shocked if any of them were over 30. If you're straight out of college and want no personal life, they pay well and this could be the job for you!
