Hi job seekers, I wanted to share a bad experience I had with Peacock Engineering in Bangalore while attending an interview.
I received a call from HR named Asheesh Gupta on June 5, 2024, regarding openings in the company and scheduled the first round of interviews on the same day.
I cleared the first round and scheduled the second and final rounds for June 6th. After clearing the second round, they mentioned that they were hiring in bulk and would provide offer details on Monday, June 10th. If they didn't have the budget, they could have informed me directly instead of making me wait to see if they could find candidates willing to accept a lower salary.
They mentioned they were considering candidates with less experience, but instead of making candidates wait, they could have stated that they didn't have the budget to offer higher salaries and would hire those with less experience.
The most unprofessional behavior came from HR Asheesh Gupta, who asked inappropriate questions like whether I was married, suggesting they preferred hiring unmarried women so they could chat with them.
My sincere request to the company's management is to consider these points. Did you call me and conduct the entire interview process just for the sake of it?
Please value others' time; the world doesn't revolve solely around your company, right?
