I recently interviewed for a role at Peco InspX, and while the interview process itself was positive, the lack of communication afterward was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. The process began with a helpful introduction to the company and role, followed by a questionnaire on frontend development and team collaboration tasks. I then participated in a collaborative frontend and backend coding interview, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The interviewer was accommodating and made the experience engaging.
However, after the interview, I did not receive any updates despite sending two follow-up emails. This lack of response was especially frustrating considering I had turned down other interview opportunities to focus on this role, as it seemed like an excellent fit for my interests. While it isn’t Peco InspX’s fault that I passed on those opportunities, the sheer lack of transparency and closure after investing significant time and effort into the process is completely unprofessional.
Ultimately, while the interview itself was a positive experience, the lack of follow-up has left me with a negative impression of the company. Peco InspX needs to improve its communication with candidates to ensure a more respectful and professional experience.
