Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Pegasystems nel mese di feb 2010
Colloquio
I was referred by a friend. Took about 4 weeks beginning to end. First week was a handful of calls with the HR recruiter, interspersed with 2-3 phone interviews with senior managers, directors and VPs. I thought all were very positive people, very energetic. They were very upfront about the knowns and the unknowns (travel requirements, wich I actually travel far less than they estimated, yea!).
Then came the onsite. Very first rate--they flew me out, took me to lunch, etc. First was a demo of their product to me by a senior engineer, then several 1-on-1 interviews with managers and VPs, then a presentation to the group. And another 1-on-1 with my VP. Very little techincal, mostly soft skills, as per the nature of this pre-sales position. Actually, technical is my strong point for this position, so soft skills is what they really wanted to gauge.
Last was the waiting. They kept me updated that an offer WAS coming, but it got hung up at a few steps (waiting for signatures). Took about 3 weeks for that, a little nerve-wracking as I really wanted the job.

They asked me how I did in my own presentation, and I had to answer in front of the group.
Great experience, phone interview was quick and smooth. Got right to the heart of the issue, money. If its not in my range than why bother. Money was lower than I was looking for when I did receive an offer.

I was a referral from a friend, I received a call from a Pega recruiter almost immediately after my resume was submitted. The hiring process was pretty straightforward, there really wasn't anything unexpected. 2 phone screens, then half a day onsite with a combination of 1-1 interviews, group interviews, and a presentation. After some of the other interviews I've been through, the Pega process was unremarkable, and overall quite forgettable.

Nothing out of the ordinary. I was asked to give a presentation on a topic of my choosing from my previous employer, but this was something that was not unique to Pega.

Colloquio
Initial phone interviews followed by multiple in-person interviews. Be prepared to show a technical presentation and demo of something you are familiar with. There will be multiple levels of interviews and this could go as high as the VP of Sales. Make sure you are very clear on any questions you have and ensure they are answered to your satisfaction.
