This experience was frustrating. I had a phone interview, it was pretty basic. I was invited for an in person interview. That also went well, pretty normal interview questions and small talk. Then I was asked to complete a "homework" assignment to write a blog and develop a marketing campaign. Since I really wanted the job I put a lot of effort in to this. I probably spent 8hrs of my own free time and I didn't even receive a thank you after I submitted it. The final step was a phone interview with the director of the dept. This woman was so out of touch, I don't even think she knew what position she was interviewing for. The questions had no relevance to the job. And then at the end she threw in, your salary requirement is very high. Well if thats the case don't you think someone should've mentioned that 3 interviews and a homework assignment ago? So much of my life wasted on this interview process.
