The interview process with TravelPerk was the most disappointing I’ve ever encountered and has deterred me from wanting to work there or encourage others too. There were 6 steps in the interview process: recruiter screening, hiring manager interview, mock discovery call/presentation, then they bring you into own of their offices culture fit interview with peers & interview with the Head of Sales, and finally a reference check. I had completed all these stages in the process, putting in a lot of energy and effort into each stage, and the feedback I received from everyone was overwhelmingly positive. After my on-site interview, the recruiter reached out to two of the references I put down. Then two days later, the company decided not to offer me the job, citing "unique circumstances" that they had to consider internally. Felt like it was not only a disappointment, but a huge waste of time and effort.

I was scouted on LinkedIn and was instantly captivated by stark difference between this screening call and every other one I've ever been through. I continued to notice more differences throughout the rest of the process. Not only was their sales process more honest, but the way they treat people also stood out to me.
