I was pretty excited when a recruiter reached out to do a phone screening as I have wanted to work at PetSmart for a few years. The interviewer called about 10 minutes late and I could tell that he was not actually that interested in me by how bored he sounded on the phone. I tried my best to shrug it off and the call was done in about 10 minutes. I never heard back. Obviously, I did not get the job but for my own organization, it would be nice to get a rejection email even if it is just a generic one.
