I was hired as a Pet Stylist. The interview process was simple. The salon manager contacted me and we spoke on the phone about my experience. Which dogs were my favorite to groom? Which were my least proficient? She asked me to come in and groom a dog in front of her for a technical observation. I was offered the job on the spot.

I interviewed with the store manager, he was polite and asked me a lot of questions. He told me a lot about the grooming salon. I was only applying to be a groomer, he kept asking me if I would be interested in a management position. I told him I was not interested. He introduced me to the grooming salon manager at the time and also to a groomer and a bather. I talked to them for a while before leaving.
