I was referred to hiring manager by a mutual connection who works at Pfizer. Spoke to hiring manager for 1.5 hours on the phone and then was invited in to speak with 7 people from the department. I suppose what really irked me was how enthusiastic the hiring manager was about my qualifications for various business functions, and then there were zero communications after the on-site interview, even after several follow-up messages expressing my interest in learning more about the roles we discussed. Left a bad taste in my mouth about managerial strategy & processes to retain good talent.

2 step process 1) Behavioral interview with hiring manager, 2) Case interview with panel. Both were within 1-2 weeks of each other so was quite fast. Assessed experience, motivations for move and fit for the role.
