I interviewed with a recruiter who provided the basics about the company and the opportunity. I then received email that one of the hiring managers wanted to interview me. Since the corporate office is located in Boston and I'm not all interviewing occurred over the phone. Two more interviews ocurred with a VP of client services and the US Manager. It was an excellent experience. Each person was very open and positive. I really felt good about my chances. Until, I was told next steps would be to bring me in for a 1:1 and after a week and a half of silence, I received an email that that the position was offered to someone with more mobile marketing experience. This seemed like an odd reason because initial conversations suggested that my broad integrated and client relationship building experience was preferred over mobile marketing. In fact, mobile marketing being an emerging discipline was not an expected capability. At any rate, I think that the company is up and coming and is a good organization for one who wants to own their peice of the pie and run with it.
