i went in person and asked to speak with the store manager to ask if they were hiring for part time sales associates. I marketed myself and was very confident in describing how interested i am in working there, she was very impressed. She gave me an application to fill out and she arranged to meet with me the very next day for a group interview. It took about an hour in the group interview because it was like a selling screening orientation, went really well. I got a call back from her a couple days later saying that i got hired...hooray.

There wasnt many questions, it was more like her explaining all parts of the store and asking us to sell her something she informed us about.

It was about 30 minutes long. The manager asked me basic questions about myself and the job. He wanted to know my availability and if I were able to unload the truck due to the boxes being heavy.
Simple and transparent process. After applying, was asked to come in to interview in person. Interview was professional and took around 45 minutes. Heard back from hiring manager within a week.
