I went through a phone screen, met with the person this role would be under and then did a 2 person panel. The phone screen went well, I loved getting to know more about the company. I met with the person this role would be under next, I loved meeting them and getting to know where I could be a help/how my skills and experience could benefit us both. The 2 person panel was supposed to be an hour long. They were asking basic situational questions that I had dealt with before and knew how to handle. They asked about my experience and how I would contribute to the company. We were at the 30 minute point when one of the interviewers abruptly stopped and asked if I had any questions. I only bring this up because the whole time this person seemed uninterested/bored/didn't want to be there, was reading from a sheet of interview questions/no follow-ups. I truly don't care if interviewers seem uninterested because I am sure they would rather be anywhere else. The other interviewer immediately looked confused and they shrugged and let me ask questions. I figured they wanted a change of pace or could redirect questions they had based on the questions I was asking. I didn't know the interview was ending there. I still to this day don't know what I said or did wrong. I had no feedback whatsoever. I got an email that day saying I wouldn't be moving on. I was overqualified for this position and I know sometimes they don't want to hire somebody who brings more than they can, but I am still genuinely confused. I must have dodged a bullet if they act that way professionally. I loved the company/it's mission, but I wouldn't apply to any of their roles again. The lack of professionalism was very obvious. I would advise against interviewing here, unless they have changed their ways, they are not worth your time.
