The recruiter kept me very informed during the entire process. I had a phone interview with him after which he sent me a link to a coding platform where I would complete two coding exercises. First exercise was easy, it was a Roman numeral converter, but the second exercise was difficult and required understanding of certain mathematical concepts I was not familiar with. I passed the coding exercises and got invited to an interview. I was told I would be asked competency-based questions, but the interviewers never asked any questions about me other than the standard 'tell us about yourself' which felt unfair as I had prepared projects to talk about. Then I had a fizzbuzz Javascript exercise which I completed while sharing my screen. Lastly they gave me a logic exercise which I also completed. They ended up going with a candidate that solved the logic exercise better than I did. At the end I asked for feedback and they said everything was satisfactory so I am not sure what I did wrong.
