The interview process was pretty intense. There was an initial interview that covered my background, base knowledge of the VC/PE industry, level of interest, culture fit, etc. The next step was a series of interviews. There were 3 individuals who came through one at a time to interview for 3 hours all at one time. At the end, there was a Caliper test given that took about 2 hours to finish. I also met with the CEO at the end of the interview for about 10 minutes.

The HR at Pitchbook Mumbai is pathetic. I first received a mail from HR saying that you are selected, and later I receive a mail from her saying that you will have a different date of joining which will be confirmed. Yesterday I got a mail saying that the business requirements are fulfilled so please look for other opportunities. If you did not want me to join then why are you giving hopes to candidates in such ways.
The HR is very unprofessional, as in the mails she always says don't send follow up emails or call for follow up, but isn't this the work of HR to answer the questions of any potential candidates.

interview process is of two rounds. first with the technical lead and second with the manager. if you are shortlisted then you will be getting call from the HR team within 2-3 days.

They were 2 rounds, the 1st round was to basically to check you whether you have appropriate knowledge about the finance industry and 2nd round was mostly testing the communication and situation based questions.
