Back in November 2023, I interviewed for an Inbound Sales development representative position. The process for scheduling the interview was swift. Throughout the interview, I found the experience pleasant, and the interviewer came across as cordial and managed to answer all of my questions in the desired way. However, when I was rejected and prevented from being processed to the next stage, she was not very transparent about her reasons for rejection and refused to give specific feedback.
There are three total steps. First step is a screening call, low intensity behavioral questions. The second round is with a hiring manager, same behavioral questions but some technical questions mixed in. Ended in a mock call. Third round is a higher up, same behavioral questions and trying to assess fit.

The first interview is a 15 minute phone call with the recruiter and they ask you basic questions about the role, and what you know about VCs, private equity, and M&A.
