Colloquio
The process was straight forward. Phone screen with recruiter.. very dull. Then spoke to a HM on the team. Asked me JavaScript/Web questions and scenarios verbally. Cool guy, great learning experience.

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 5 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso PlayStation (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di ott 2021
Colloquio
To summarize: I was completely ghosted. No communication at all after going through 6 interviews that amount to around 5 hours in total.
My experience in depth:
I applied for the Front End position at the San Francisco office and heard back 2-3 days later. First was an introductory chat with a recruiter. After that, I talked with a manager for a 30 minute technical phone interview on JavaScript. I passed that round and made it to their virtual onsite. This was 4 back to back 45 minute interviews where I had 1 behavioral, 2 more JavaScript rounds and 1 system design-ish round all in one day. Fortunately, I got positive feedback and was told I had one more interview with another manager. That one was about 20 minutes. After that, I never heard from the recruiter again. No follow up, literally nothing. I reached out to her a week later, and then another week later (both never got a reply).
Overall, it was a pretty disappointing process. It was hard to get a feel for what the interviews would consist of. Although I ended up doing well in the interviews, I wasn't given much preparation or information about the interviews. I was given vague one or two word phrases to describe the rounds in the onsite. I would reach out with questions but wouldn't get a response. So I was caught off guard by some of the questions since I tried to 'guess' what I could be asked. Another thing was that I wasn't told the date of my onsite until a couple days before. I ended up having to reach out to my recruiter since the week was almost over.
The Good: The people I spoke with were pretty kind and were people I could see myself being teammates with, which makes my experience more disappointing.
