I applied online and was contacted by an HR person about a week later to schedule a phone interview. My interview was with a member of the team I would have been working on. From the beginning, the person did not seem very engaged and came off as uninterested in the interview. This became very obvious when the interviewer abruptly hung up the phone before I could ask my final question regarding the next steps in the interview process. I was very disappointed in how this person conducted the interview because I had read many positive things about the team.
We appreciate your interest in our Finance opening and I'm sorry to learn that you had a negative experience. Each interviewer has their own style when conducting phone interviews, but I am sad to hear that you felt interrupted and that the interviewer was dis-engaged. This type of feedback is helpful for us to continue to refine our interview process, so I will be sure to share that with our team.
