I interviewed to be an AE first last year around this time, and it was an okay interview. Regular questions consisted of why they should hire me, how do I handle rejection, my work xp and all that. The third interview was a roleplay with two of them. Kind of intense. Didn't nail it so they recommended I try for SDR. I went through another six interviews. On the 2nd one the guy pretty much called me stupid during the interview. Okay that's weird, but ok. Immediately after that he told me I was going to interview with the VP and no one even told me we were going to do that, kinda threw me off. He asked me about a time where I failed and how I overcame it. I answered one of his other questions and he told me that he didn't want an itinerary of what happened, but rather a concise answer? Anyway, I didn't get either jobs and I went through so many interviews to get a slap in the face.
