Hiring process is a joke. Quant Analyst candidates are required to take a 4 question 60 min HackerRank test before an interview is granted.
I missed 2 out of 4 questions - an SQL query which the interface showed correct output but contemporaneously told me I had wrong answer (evidently a termination semi colon was required) and a second question where one line of code was correct but not the syntax the interface wanted.
So a semi colon and a line of code cost me an interview.
This kind of screening is an absolute joke. Has no bearing on a candidates skill or value one brings to the firm.

The interview was an interesting experience. The atmosphere was professional, and the questions were thought-provoking. Overall, it was a positive encounter, and I appreciate the opportunity to participate in the interview process.
