Applied to Postmates through an online hiring platform. Spoke to the recruiter over the phone to go over basic questions like my previous experience and why I would like to work at Postmates etc. After this, the recruiter had a laundry list of Android theory questions and I answered all of them accurately. I received a generic reject email the next day. What a waste of time.

First phone screening with hiring manager, both told about backgrounds. Second technical phone interview with one engineer, he asked basic android questions and algorithm question was removing the invalid parentheses from a string. Third onsite interview, I found bugs in an android app and fixed them. Then developed an android app which make a request to an api and list the returned items in Recyclerview by using Asynctask. Then system design question and last transactional Hashmap implementation.
