Colloquio
Started fine, turned into a mess. Initial interviews with recruiter and management were straightforward and typical of my previous experiences. At first the pay-per-unit instead of per hour format sounded refreshing but later conversations with colleagues left me with lots of additional concerns about expectations how much I would actually make at the end of the day. I had to pay for my own TB tests, I was told none of their local facilities would test me for free. My references were directed via email to an extensive list of rating and free text questions which were burdensome and most did not respond.
Burden put on MY shoulders to repeatedly contact them to complete this task instead of HR. It was up to ME to find and pay for my testing instead of being provided a streamlined process by the company. I was also contacted by multiple people from corporate to provide information I had already given to someone else. The excess work put on my shoulders before hire plus the apparent lack of communication behind the scenes soured me to this company. Should have known better, Powerback is a superficial rebranding of a gigantic McRehab company notorious for profits-over-people practices.
Two phone interviews, just asking past experience and going over building details and work requirements. Easy interview. No crazy questions. Felt prepared for work based on info shared in interview

Everything was done over zoom. Very difficult to get a good or bad feeling for a company and manager when it is all done over a computer. Interview didn’t seem very direct.
