Initially had a phone call with HR just to go over my experience and learn more about the company. Shortly after, I had a technical phone interview with a software engineering manager, which consisted of some high-level design/best practices questions and a few simple coding problems over a shared screen. Lastly, there was an on-site interview with 4 rounds (including HR). The on-site was surprisingly not very technical (only one coding problem asked), and instead mostly consisted of behavioral and scenario-type questions. I felt optimistic after the interview and thought everything had gone well, but was rejected a week later over my lack of geospatial/remote sensing experience (even though this wasn't a requirement in the initial job posting).

I got ghosted. An email to decline my application would have been appreciated. I only went through the first phone screen. The interviewer ended up on a positive note by suggesting that the next interview would occur the following week. The interviewer did not follow up, and was unresponsive to e-mails.
