Colloquio
There were some writing samples and exercises to submit and a total of two interviews. They really stress that you need to follow up with them. While it felt like a lot, I don't think any of it was unreasonable. The first interview was more of a screening interview and the second was with the president and a managing editor.

Colloquio
I applied for the editorial apprenticeship by emailing my application, got a follow up email not long after, and then interviewed in person with two employees. There are two interviews total: one with editors and a writing test and the second with a manager and the president. They were friendly and the overall process wasn't stressful, which was a relief.

I submitted my application and they called me in for an interview, but I had to send in writing samples, comment on their blogs, etc. Then when I arrived for the first interview, they gave me a quick math and grammar test, which I was not expecting. It was pretty easy and I used my phone calculator. I interviewed with two editors who were really nice. They sat me down with another editor who went through the sites with me and told me about the company a little more. Then they asked me to follow up with them (apparently they don't follow up, they want you to) and I did. I was called in for a second interview. At this interview, I had an hour long writing test. They asked me to write 75-100 words of teaser copy for 10 projects. Then I had an interview with the president (Stuart) and a managing editor. They told me again that I'd have to follow up if I liked the company. So, I did follow up, and they got back to me very quickly with an offer letter. Boom. Hired.
