      Colloquio per Account Manager

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto più di una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso PrimeSource FSE (Norwalk, CT) nel mese di apr 2012

      Colloquio

This was a headache and a half. First of all, the position was posted under "Customer Service". Its marketing. Plain and simple. And they aren't honest about it at all. They used the first interview to ask me questions that could have been answered if they just read my resume (which they had in their hands). The SECOND interview, was over the phone, and they asked me about how I felt about the job. (?) I didn't even know how to answer it. The THIRD interview (about 8 days from the first one) I had to "work a full day with someone who does that job every day". So from 9am to 5pm, I walked around Yonkers, NY, asking small business owners to sign up for an energy contract with them. If they declined, we'd harass them. To make matters worse, when we got back to the office, they sat me down with the HR girl Gina, and we talked about compensation and wages. She said "there is Base Pay+ Commission, or there is Full Commission-which I reccommend, because it's so easy to sell accounts." Well I have a 3 year old at home, I dont want to rely fully on commission, so I said if I were offered the position, I'd take the Base Pay+commission. She showed me a contract to sign, and I read it. It stated, "If the employee doesn't meet a quota of 15 accounts sold a week, they will receive Commission only, at $20 per account signed" When I asked them about it, they brushed it off and said that most people get 5-10 in one day! (even though that day I was walking around with them, they didn't get one!!) She then called me the next morning offering me the position and I declined.
