I'm so cut up about this interview because I know I definitely bombed my assignment. The interview process was relatively quick and easy, phone interview with the recruiter, then 1-1 with the hiring manager and then an assignment. The recruiter was responsive, the hiring manager and I got along great and I was really excited to join the team. A few days after I submitted the assignment, I got a rejection email. It wasn't difficult (or maybe it was more difficult than I realized and that's why I failed), just 3 slides on some CRO tactics I'd implement. The company is great, the team is great. My pride is hurt from failing the assignment but that's okay, I'll use this as a way to level up my CRO skills for the future.
