Initial phone call with recruiter - Discussion of company, position, my background, what I'm looking for
Video call with hiring manager - Discussed my background and the team. Was asked cultural questions related to working with others, problem solving, etc. Along the format of "Describe a time when x happened. What did you do? How did you work through that problem? What was the outcome?"
Tech screen with engineer - Quick background discussion. For the coding portion, was given a class skeleton that included unit tests. Needed to implement a few functions with the goal of getting as many unit tests to pass as possible.
Virtual onsite - 4 sessions that were split over 2 days due to scheduling availability
1. Architecture - Open ended discussion to design a system. Was very interactive.
2. Cultural - Director of division asked cultural questions related to working with others, problem solving, etc. Along the format of "Describe a time when x happened. What did you do? How did you work through that problem? What was the outcome?"
3. Hiring manager - Scheduler accidentally scheduled the hiring manager again even though we had spoken. This ended up giving me the opportunity to ask lots of questions and get a great feel for the manager and how the team runs.
4. Coding - Given a class skeleton that included unit tests. Needed to implement a few functions with the goal of getting as many unit tests to pass as possible. This problem seemed exceptionally long given the fact that there was only an hour scheduled.
Unfortunately I did not get an offer. I was really excited to work on this team and very disappointed with the decision because I thought things went very well during the interview.
It took an exceptionally long time to get a decision which was also a negative. I couldn't get the recruiter to respond to emails and was finally able to get a response after asking the scheduler to reach out to the recruiter.

Four interviews. Two technical, one behavioral and one leadership. One of the best interview processes I've experienced. Upon request for feedback, the recruiter offered me a callback, which was extremely helpful in absorbing, for once, the empirical reasons for rejection.

I was supposed to have two interviews.
Firstly, they tried setting me up for an interview they already had someone in mind for, but didn't know if he was willing to move from Houston.
They cancelled when he accepted, but rescheduled when I pointed out a new position was listed to the recruiter. Nailed that interview but then they notified me that position was being closed. Tried to interview for a third position with the same requirements, and the recruiter just ghosted me when I asked.
Seems like they're completely disorganized and frankly I feel like I dodged a bullet
