My application and online assessment went well until I interviewed with the recruiter. I immediately realized that she was not interested in my skills and abilities but just interested in what Progressive wants, which she made clear to me is a person who will work until the job is done, no matter the amount of hours involved for the same salary. I asked about the flexible work schedule that other reviewers on this site mentioned (working 1 or 2 days out of the week from home) and I was told that they do not offer that option. The position is phone based and requires for you to do fast paced investigations, while you toggle through different screens, with the customer on the line. So, my understanding of this position based on the recruiters information and the many reviews on this site is that progressive will work you to the bone, offer no overtime and expects you to meet tough quotas. The recruiter was very dry and uninterested in getting to know me as a person. I felt that no importance was placed on the value that I could bring to the company. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in the interviewer and in what I initially considered a very exciting opportunity. The interview lasted 18 minutes and is by far my worst interview experience ever. I don't know if I will be asked to participate in a 2nd interview, but if this is the case I will respectfully decline.

I applied and was sent an email to complete a 30 minute assessment that must be completed within 6 days. I completed the assessment about 2 hours after receiving the email. Within about 30 minutes of completing the assessment I received an email stating I was selected for a short video interview as soon as possible and submissions are reviewed in the order in which they are received. This is how far I am in the process so far.
