I submitted the application, was then contacted about availability and skills by a director, and then placed in a role with a proper supervisor. It moved very quickly and was very efficient.
They did a really good job of thoroughly interviewing people mainly to see if the person would work hard and stick with the internship, because even though it is unpaid they rely on their interns for the work in the summer.
