Where do I even begin? I was so excited to interview for this place, because the position looked like a perfect fit for me. But, the excitement turned into a panic attack during the interview with the hiring manager. He immediately started the conversation by saying in a rude way -“I don’t understand your CV, the timeline is confusing” . I apologized politely, explained it to him and thought the worst was over. But no, he continued to interrupt me after few sentences, not believing anything I was saying, zero trust in what I had written on my CV, as if he had already made up his mind that he didn’t want to hire me. Well guess what? Who wants to work in such a toxic environment? Not me! I withdrew myself from this process and saved myself from further humiliation. I guess some people forget that they may be “tech bros” but they don’t own the workers. My suggestion - If you ever work for this place, make sure your manager isn’t a toxic person.
