      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Protegrity

      Colloquio

Call with recruiter, technical interview. The recruiter calls and tells me about the opportunity and I show some interest. The recruiter sends me a skills list and need ratings for different skills. The document also asks what your salary and bonus was for the last 3 years. I fill out the doc, ( I didn't fill out salary for the last three years because it's none of their business even though this opportunity was a considerable pay cut from my current position) The recruiter loses the document for a couple weeks and then calls. Explains they want to go forward with a technical interview and adds that before an offer is given I will need to show proof of W2 earnings for the last three years. (this is really a deal breaker for me) but since the interview was scheduled I decide to go through with it. The technical interview is likely the worst I've ever experienced. Seriously...Questions about acronyms and such. The interviewer seemed more proud to explain this minutia than anything important. After the third question, I stopped the interview, told them I was no longer interested and hung up. Don't waste your time.

"Historical compensation details helps the recruiter to justify the offer to the management. While there is a budget associated to every position that we hire, this budget is usually a range. To arrive at a specific number, we need to consider multiple factors including historical compensation data that enables us to offer you the best possible compensation. We do make sure we choose the right interviewers with the required skill sets to talk to candidates. Since the time this review was written, several improvements have been made within our recruitment processes. I am open to any further suggestions for improvements that you may want to share with me." Krishnan Iyer, GM, India Operations
