I have applied to 14 RN positions, mainly at Providence St. John’s in Santa Monica since late March 2024.
A few of the managers didn’t even show up for the interviews via zoom and two were cancelled 30 minutes prior to the start of the interview.
My last interview for a psych position in San Pedro (which I’m qualified for) the manager asked me two questions then told me she had to interview someone else.
Twenty minutes later I received an email telling me I wasn’t selected, I think they had already made a decision, why put me through the interview and get my hopes up.
I have attempted to email H.R., unfortunately they don’t care.

I was contacted right away after submitting my resume online and was contacted by a recruiter via text and email. I answered several questions that were very generic and straightforward. After 8-10 minutes, I received an email stating that Provience would like to set up a Zoom interview with me.

This interview was conducted via Zoom, fairly straightforward and smooth process. This interview seemed typical for what is practiced today for nursing interviews. The interviewers were a manager and nurse from a different unit, both were knowledgable and I was offered a position there.
