Was greeted by the store manager and invited into their office. They introduced themself then proceeded to tell the story of how Publix got started and how the company has been expanding over the years.

Was asked “what is your favorite color?” I thought he was joking, but no. He wasn’t. I said to myself that this was the easiest interview that I have ever been a part of in my entire lifetime.

Organized and flowed well. Interviewer answered all questions I had for them and more. It was timely and follow process was fast and efficient. Great experience overall went well. Second interview involved job offer.

First, you have to take an online assessment during the application and then you get scheduled for an in-person interview if they like your responses. The assessment was pretty lengthy and had a variety of customer service and situational questions, and the interview was pretty serious for the low level position I was taking.
