It was fine, they called you on the phone then asked if you couldcome for an interview. Sometimes one or 2 people may interview you it all depends if they have the time. Once interview is over and they like you then you will get hired. Drug test follows. As long as you pass the drug test you are good to go.

Fairly simple, just be transparent and be as flexible as you can. When I applied, I was starting college, and I had no previous job experience. Can't speak for all Publix's, but will train, just don't expect them to hold your hand, and they will let you fend for yourself.
