Asked what I knew about the company. Interviewer was impressed I knew the founder and when it was founded. The interview was very easy and no prior work experience was needed.

Spoke with assistant manager, he was very kind and honest. Asked me about my previous experience and made the interview very pleasant, I wish more employers would take the approach Publix takes. Very simple and straight forward. Was called 3 days later.
Really was easy. Basically the only question asked was why I wanted to work there. I basically just said because I’ve always enjoyed going to Publix growing up and seeing all the employees with a smile made me know it was a good place to work.

I applied online and I showed up at the job fair in both March to learn about the company and April to actually do my interview. It was for a new store they are opening in Rolesville.
