Asked my professor if I could join his research team, he sat me down after class and asked me questions. This was in the class, we didn’t head to his office until a later date to decide what projects I would be helping with

I applied in late July and heard back in early August. The interviewer gave me plenty of information beforehand on where to go. Interview was one of the more casual ones I've experienced and there was a lot of focus on who I am as a student and what my professional trajectory is. Very open to adjusting the position to be what I need it to be which is something I find a lot at Purdue!
