      Colloquio per Account Executive

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Purohit Navigation (Chicago, IL) nel mese di gen 2015

      Colloquio

I had multiple phone interviews and multiple face-to-face interviews. The position is STILL open. It's been open for well over a year. I wouldn't waste my time interviewing for a position that they seem to not ever going to fill. They threw in some surprise interviewers, but I was prepared for their questions. However, it would have been nice to be told up front who these people where and what positions they held BEFORE sitting down to talk to them. They went as far as telling me that they were ready to make an offer. However, I soon received "can response" that they were looking for someone who had a little more experience. Total shocker. I tried calling the HR Director, but he dodged my calls and ignored my follow-up emails. After reading many of the reviews here, I think I dodged a bullet. The way the owner treated me during the process seemed par for the course after reading many of the reviews on this site.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

I was asked the standard questions. However, the owner asked me some very inappropriate question. These questions pertained to an indirect competitor. She drilled me about a position that I held back in 1996. I couldn't believe it. She also had someone in her office that I could not see. It was very uncomfortable to hear someone turning the newspaper and hearing them cough, yet I was never told that someone else was on the opposite side of the wall.

Thank you for your feedback. As a small company, the interviewing and hiring process is very important to us. Every new-hire becomes a large and important member of our team. Because of that, we have invested a lot of time to ensure that our interviewing/hiring process is fair and thorough. For every position, our goal is to find the best overall fit – not only for us, but for our clients and you as the candidate. We use historical experience often as a guide, and feel that no matter how old, it can really help us understand what people bring to the table. We also hope that connecting you with a wide range of employees during the interview process gives better insight into who we are and how we work together. We will try and be more transparent about both of these practices going forward. We also apologize if what we can only assume was our CEO's administrative assistant, who has an office adjoining hers, was disturbing to you -- we definitely strive to maintain the strictest of confidence during the interview process. Again, we do appreciate the time you spent interviewing with us and your candid feedback and wish you the best of luck in your career search.
