I was asked about my background and experience in the industry. Didn't have to prove I knew anything as my experience spoke for itself. This was evident with other new-hires as well, but others lied about their experience and it showed their first day on the job. It was evident, though, experience didn't matter to them, they just needed warm bodies for a project.
