Colloquio
I obtained the e-mail address of an actual recruiter from a current employee. (My web-based submission of my resume got no response.) The recruiter mailed me back 17 questions to answer via e-mail.
I did my best to answer two salary-related questions, one of which I found offensive. Having already asked me what my salary expectations were (fair enough), they also wanted to know what my current salary was. That's private, and I disclose it only to the tax people and my bank. I did my best to give them an idea of my current salary--I gave them a range--but the recruiter demanded to know my exact salary.
When I asked to know what salary they were offering, the response was a curt: "You need not know our compensation structure to tell me what are earning." I'm not keen on employers that tell me what I need--although admittedly I was already turned off by their absolute insistence on knowing my current salary.

I had in total four interviews with them plus a tough assignment to do. It was tough because I had just 24 hours to do it in and involved downloading their software and using it to get some data. After all this I didn't hear from them at all. When I asked they said they had moved the post to Canada, but I felt they should have called and explained. After this they advertised for technical writers many more times. I really want to know why they didn't follow up with me. After 4 interviews and a tough assignment I really Think I have a right to know!

Domanda 1
To explain my assignment and justify all my findings. The assignment was tough given the paucity of time so this part was a bit intimidating, but it Went off well without problems. I was able to answer all questions.
