Prepare for questions about machine learning and statistics, even in the first interview and even if machine learning is not your topic. It helps to review course notes before going in, some questions were theoretical like for example the assumptions of linear regression.

Une partie fit assez classique. La personne se chargeant de l’interview s’est présentée et m’a aussi demandé de me présenter pour mieux me connaitre.
Une deuxième partie technique où on m’a d’abord demandé de présenter un de mes projets. Ensuite une partie Maths avec des questions sur la régression linéaire, Lasso, Ridge. Ensuite un exercice classique sur les marches aléatoires.

Y’a-t-il une forme fermée pour Lasso et Ridge et si oui, qu’est-ce qui change dans cette forme ? Sinon expliquer pourquoi.

1st round: technical interview with the senior quant researcher, including probability, python, pandas and linear regression. 2nd round: interview with team managers, including background screen ,data analysis, math questions in linear algebra and calculus.
