The office at r/ga is pretty cool, though I'm not a huge fan of the location. They have a nice coffee bar in the office which would be pretty convenient (they gave me a latte on the house after my second interview, which was courteous). They have two offices across the street from each other. I had three different interviws, each in the smaller building with the court yard.
I met with four people during the interviews. Three of them were really nice, though one definitely thought he was pretty special because they worked at r/ga (he had a serious attitude). My biggest red flag was everyone's brutal honesty when it came to work hours. If they were putting an end to global poverty, I'd say go ahead and work around the clock. But, for digital advertising, no matter how creative it is, I think working 12+ hour days is a sign of mismanagement. I guess if you really love what you do then you would be considered extra lucky for spending all of your time at work.

You have to be committed and passionate. This has to be what you love. Do you live and breath digital advertising?
Me contactaron distintas personas por linkedin. Repitieron preguntas y no parecian estar al tanto que ya habia sido contactado previamente.
El tiempo de respuesta fue muy lento y acepte otra propuesta

I was connected with a recruiter in NY originally contacted for senior producer freelance opportunity. I expressed my goal of being FT and being in PDX. We stayed in touch and a producer role local in PDX opened up. My first interview was with a senior producer and the executive production director. All of the questions seemed pretty normal, I will say there was a lot of focus on budget, and whats the highest I've managed, and what do I do when there's scope creep or lots of different circumstances. It felt a little off given I wasn't interviewing for an account manager/director/senior producer role, typically a mid-level producer isn't solely in charge of million dollar budgets. I was brought it for a second time to meet with an executive producer, a producer who asked very similar budget questions. And some behavioral questions. Lastly I was given a case study that threw me for a pretty big loop and almost made me wonder if I applied to the right job. The case study was I had 30 minutes to create a advertising campaign for a marketing CEO at T-mobile who wanted to make the brand speak to a younger audience through a device launch. Then create a budget and timeline for it. I'm not a advertising campaign strategist so I felt pretty weird creating that. Then creating a budget and timeline felt even more weird.

How have you managed scope change when you've already signed the contract and the project is in motion.

overall a good experience - they have mostly a freelance model as opposed to full time within their studio - but the team was super respectful of our time. more of an exploratory chat
