I had an interview and was then provided a take-home task, which I completed and submitted. Despite following up with polite emails for follow-up, I never received feedback about the task or updates about my application. Investing time and effort without even a courtesy reply was frustrating and disheartening. This unprofessional behaviour might poorly reflect the company's communication and respect for candidates' time.

Initial call, and then take home a task with instructions
I applied for a Data Scientist position at RAPP. After a couple of months, I heard back from the recruiter and was given a take-home technical exercise. I submitted it within the deadline, but then did not hear anything for 3 weeks. Eventually, HR emailed to say I had passed the technical test and that they would contact me to schedule a face-to-face interview. Another 3 weeks passed with no communication, and then I received a standard rejection email stating I did not meet the criteria for the role despite being told an interview would be arranged and received no feedback for the technical exercise.
The process was unprofessional and poorly managed, given the lack of communication and respect for candidates’ time.
