The job I interviewed for and the job they actually wanted me to do once I started were completely different. During the interview, they talked it up like it was the exact job I had spent 6 months searching for. It wasn't a permanent FTE role, but it was a 6-month CTH, and they were sure that I would be converted at that time.

Did I have experience coaching leaders from across the organization who were resistant to change?
I am adding a comment...when I interviewed, the job title was different, much more senior. I had no idea I was going to be a 'Project Manager'. Also, when I started, I didn't do any of the things we talked about in the interview.

Communication after the final interview could be improved. Despite following up, I did not receive any updates regarding the status of my application for several weeks. Providing candidates with timely updates, even when decisions are still pending, would create a better candidate experience.
The first visual interview is through WebEx, and has two rounds, the first round is general background and the next round mixed with technical questions. I have not get the second round so I don't know much about that.
