Firstly the application had to be screened and then progressed to an online test. These tests involved maths questions, which tested basic knowledge. Then, after passing the tests, progressed to a phone interview with a recent graduate. This was mainly competency based alongside a question about any recent article of the candidate's choosing and how it relates to the bank.

Application form involving competence questions etc, online numerical and verbal tests and then phone interview. Interview was very conversational and interviewer was interested in personal interests as well as motivation for applying to RBC. Interviewer was a member of campus recruitment team but is usually a graduate. Accepted offer and enjoyed their spring week programme. Involved IB case study and markets simulation, got to talk to variety of employees and present to IB head of divisions.
