REI needs to check their spam filter. I received an email from an REI recruiter responding to a submitted application near the end of June. She asked for 3 times that would work for a brief phone call, of which I responded promptly. A week goes by, and she sends another e-mail: "Wanted to circle back with you to see if you're still interested in having a conversation. If so please sent me a couple of times you're available to chat for approximately 30 minutes. If you're no longer interested in this opportunity, please let me know." I again responded with 3 times that worked for me, but also let her know that I had an upcoming backpacking trip where I'd have no phone or internet access. 3 weeks later, I still have not received a response.
