During the interview process, I received an email to schedule a phone interview. After a few minutes past the scheduled time, I received a call. I began by introducing myself briefly, followed by questions about problem-solving abilities and communication skills. We also discussed my portfolio and personal matters like relocating. Towards the end, I had the opportunity to ask questions about the company and the position. The entire process was characterized by communication and interaction, providing me with insights into their team and work environment.

Asked a lot to get to know you as a person- personal questions about family members’ jobs, friends, social life. Also asked me to read their list of values back to them and discuss them.

The first-round interview covered standard questions. Overall, I had a positive experience, except for one issue: the position had opened less than four days before my interview. It wasn’t a repost—it had just been listed, and I applied a few hours later. However, they mentioned it might already be filled since they were in the final stages of interviewing another candidate. This seemed odd because they had also stated that their interview process typically takes weeks. It has now been over four weeks, and the position still appears to be open.
